and God Answered

I’ve been talking with the Lord about an issue that I have absolutely no control over; seeking His guidance, asking for His loving mercy…and He kindly answered:

I was reminded that only He knows the best answer and His timing is perfect. He asked me to trust Him in this and stop trying to figure out solutions on my own.

I heard my Father and I gave it to Him; only to take it back as a worry and begin to pray again.

Again, I was reminded that I could FULLY trust Him. I asked, “You mean, there is nothing I need to do? You’ve got this?” I was assured that He did and that it was no longer my concern.

At that moment, right then, the freedom that poured into my spirit was amazing!  I was to be still and know that He is God – and I can trust Him completely.

I know that, in that one moment, I was encompassed by God’s loving presence. His assurance was more real than a “feeling” or a “desire” – and once again, I am more grateful than words can express.

Our God is awesome – and completely trustworthy!

Isn’t He better than anything human? I like how you said to let it go. He’s got it. So true. How relieving not to have to worry about it. Thank you for this great post.

  2. You post reminds me that the more a problem is out of my control the more I try to take control over it – I need to let go and let God – thanks for the reminder
