We’re all human and in this life, at this moment, because our Heavenly Father has a very specific plan for each of us. He created us to be unique individuals, and there is no limit to the number of ways he communicates with us.
A close relationship requires two who love and communicate with each other.
Can you imagine loving someone who doesn’t listen when you talk, doesn’t offer comfort when you hurt, or encouragement when you’re sad, and doesn’t answer questions when you ask?
As Christians, we know God loves us and wants a relationship with us. He listens, comforts, encourages, and answers our questions. He really does make his will
known to us in whatever way we can hear him best. Maybe it is a knowing in our hearts, a whisper so distinct we wonder if others heard it, or a scripture suddenly imprinted into our minds. It might be a sound, a smell, a sight, or a touch. However our Father communicates with us, if we listen and are open to him, he will reveal his love.
Once we are focused on being in God’s presence, we become more aware of the wonders and blessings of each new day. We live a life of joyful gratitude; an abundant life made possible by the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God!
I’m glad to meet you and look forward to reading more! Roo

A good Challenge, thanks. I try to prepare myself (spend a little time in the Word each morning) to hear God daily even though I am distracted by almost everything.

I know that feeling too well – distractions all around!

Someone once asked me, “Have you ever heard God speak?” I responded, “How can I not?” With ever sunrise, every tear, every infant’s smile, and every drop of rain, He is speaking in one way or another. Then, when we read God’s word and let the Holy Spirit lead, His voice can be louder than a jet engine.

Good afternoon Prissy. Putting a reply box right up front on the home page is a very interesting idea. I like it a lot. The picture is fantastic, I would have cried too…
