Into His Presence with Praise

This morning, during a conversation with the Lord, He gave me another reason He tells us to praise Him.
Of course, we praise Him because He is our God (Psalm 118:28)
We praise Him because He is worthy of praise (Psalm 96:4)
We praise Him because He has done wonderful things (Isaiah 25:1), including redeeming us (Luke 1:68), and blessing us with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3)
And today, our loving Heavenly Father taught me that He gave us the ability to praise Him as a blessing and a gift from Him to us…
Praise and thanksgiving instantly take us into our Father’s Holy Presence.
Psalm 100:4 tells us to “enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise” –
He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, so that all who believe are now assured of a place with Him for all eternity and, during our time on earth, living the abundant life He has provided, we are welcomed into His presence anytime.
Thank you, Father, for your constant, loving care and your gentle instruction as we seek to follow as you lead.
